Our reserve is home to a wide range of unique and fascinating wildlife, including the elusive and charming Elephant Shrew, also known as the Karoo rock Sengi.

On our Sengi drives, one of our knowledgeable guides will take you on a tour to search for these tiny creatures. The Elephant Shrew is known as the Sengi due to it's high-pitched vocalizations, which it uses to communicate with other members of its species.

Our guides are highly skilled at spotting these creatures, and we currently have a very high success rate of finding them on a low koppie in our reserve. The Sengi drives offer an immersive and exciting experience, allowing you to observe these fascinating creatures up close in their natural habitat.
